More than sharing the beauty of the Philippines, we want travelers to love this tropical country and its beautiful people like we do. We are a bastion of sustainable tourism in the Philippines and we are driven to stay this way.

We named our company “Kapwa Travel” to emphasize “togetherness”, “being human” or “shared identity,” values that are deeply imbedded in the Filipino psyche. We believe a traveler who understands this will definitely have “more fun in the Philippines”.

Respect is an integral part of our operations. Travel provides a platform where different cultures meet. Interaction with other people helps us better understand cultural diversity and help us appreciate our own identity. When you explore, it’s not only your first time to visit but it is also the first time for locals to meet you. We want to help that both sides enjoy a wonderful interaction and thus promote a meaningful exchange of cultures.

We want our travelers to feel the warmth of Filipino hospitality and experience a dose of German efficiency. This combination results in exceptional service for our responsible travelers.

Travel the "Kapwa way"!

If you want to go on an exciting tour, meet friendly like-minded people and are ready for real adventures, then join our small group tour across the Central Visayas!

We have carefully selected our product offerings to promote a different, hopefully more responsible & sustainable tourism in the Philippines – one that does not only look good on paper or website but one that is genuinely beautiful in all aspects.

We love the Philippines and we want to take care of the Philippines. We strive to be a beacon of positivity so we may inspire others to follow our direction in nurturing the environment while supporting local communities.

When you tour with us, we offer more than the famed beaches frequented by tourists. And we definitely do not support the controversial whale shark swimming in Oslob, Cebu. Instead, our individualized tours will introduce you to “hidden gems” of the Philippines that are less congested and more sensitive to animal welfare. We offer travelers an in-depth experience of nature and culture so that they bring home a beautiful travel experience and a renewed perspective about culture, nature and life.

Travelers and suppliers who make a conscious choice of supporting sustainable tourism become our partners in helping alleviate poverty in the remote areas of the Philippines, where many of the “hidden gems” can be found. Nature doesn’t have to suffer for the local economy to grow.

Kapwa Travel aims to balance the areas of People, Planet and Profit in its operation to ensure the sustainable viability of our company and our country. We work hand-in-hand with partners who are not only reliable and trustworthy but who also hold the same principles as we do.

For sustainability to take a stronghold in the Philippines, we believe that nurturing and educating the youth will help produce responsible future tourism professionals who will take care of our land.

Kapwa Travel provides financial support and offers an internship program for deserving and talented students in the field of tourism. Students based in Cebu City or Mactan Island, where our office is based, are eligible to apply for sponsorship.

Workplace diversity and inequality are not an issue in our company because Kapwa Travel puts value in people and has always treated everyone fairly. Performance and capability are the units of measure. Each member of our team has a unique set of skills and expertise that contribute to our success. Our tour guides are DOT-accredited which guarantees skills, competence and quality. They have extensively traveled the Philippines and can navigate easily between the remote areas and high-end resorts.

Sustainable tourism is not a lonely road when travelers, tour operators and local communities come together and recognize their shared identity and responsibility to make a positive impact on this world that we all live in.
