What to Expect on Your Philippine Wildlife Tour

This tour is your chance to connect with the natural side of the Philippines—from tiny primates to towering trees and everything in between. Escape the crowds and experience nature again.

Day 1: Welcome to Manila

It starts in Manila, where our team will meet you directly at the terminal upon arrival at the international airport (NAIA). You will spend your first night at a hotel near the airport. Depending on the time that you arrive, you can either explore the capital city on your own or just rest and relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Transfer to Donsol

On the second day, you will fly to Legazpi, where you’ll see the majestic Mayon Volcano—the famous volcano that has a perfectly symmetric conical shape. Your private driver will take you to Donsol, the “capital of whale sharks” in the Philippines. In the evening, you will experience and enjoy a firefly river tour.

Day 3: Whale Shark Interaction

On the third day, the first—in the truest sense of the word—great adventure awaits you: the whale sharks interaction tour. In cooperation with the WWF Philippines, the sustainable variant of whale shark swimming has been established for years around Donsol. Swim with the gentle giants in Donsol and be amazed!

Day 4: Transfer to Bohol

After another domestic flight to Cebu, you will take a ferry to Bohol. Alternatively, you can fly to Bohol via a connecting flight. Bohol is well-known as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the country. You will not only see the world-famous Chocolate Hills here but also numerous other wild animals.

Day 5: Private Bohol Sightseeing Tour

Our Bohol Countryside Tour is one of the best ways to experience the island’s natural wonders and gentle wildlife. You’re going to visit the world-famous Chocolate Hills; see the tiny and adorable Philippine tarsiers up close; and explore the RSPL sanctuary—home of the long-tailed macaque living in a lush forest. You might even catch a glimpse of a carabao in the fields, giving you a taste of Bohol’s peaceful rural life. Lunch is also included in this tour.

Day 6: Boat to Pamilacan Island

On Pamilacan Island, you’ll spend a total of two nights in simple, typically Filipino, and therefore extremely authentic Nipa Huts, gaining valuable insights into the simple but happy lives of local families and fishermen. Explore the village and meet the villagers. They will be happy to show you around and tell you about their way of living on the island.

Day 7: Dolphin-Watching, Snorkeling, and Massage

You will set off by outrigger boat (bangka) early in the morning for an exciting dolphin-watching tour. You will then go snorkeling in clear waters filled with coral reefs, sea turtles, and colorful fish, followed by a relaxing local massage.

Day 8: Transfer to Siquijor Island

Now that you are done with the island of Pamilacan, it’s time to experience even more of the islands. This will be your starting day for the enchanting island of Siquijor.

After your days of exploration in Bohol, this is a well-deserved pause. Take your time and enjoy a leisurely day either at your resort, exploring the surroundings, or simply relaxing on the beach.

Day 10: Trip to Apo Island

Take part in an organized group tour to the famous Apo Island, which is considered to be one of the top marine reserves in the Philippines, and witness sea turtles in their natural habitat and explore the island’s vibrant coral reefs.

Day 11: Island tour on Siquijor

Get to know the flora and fauna on an island tour. In addition to the historic sights, other beautiful sites are visited, as well as the Cambugahay Falls. Do not forget to bring your swimwear!

Day 12: Return to Manila

After so much adventure on the islands, you will return to the megacity of Manila. Here we have chosen a central hotel in Intramuros so that you can even do a little walk on the colonial paths.

Let the tour end with a stroll through the old town. We are also happy to organize a classic sightseeing tour for you. Maybe you want to go shopping for some nice souvenirs in one of the excellent shops?
