Alicia Panoramic Park stands as a burgeoning gem in the heart of Alicia, Bohol, offering an enchanting experience for travelers seeking natural beauty and adventure. Located in the eastern part of Bohol, approximately 110 kilometers from the bustling capital of Tagbilaran City, this captivating destination boasts lush greenery and inspiring vistas that capture the imagination of all who visit.

Excited to explore this emerging destination, my friends Glenn, Jovel, and I decided on a spontaneous hiking adventure one Saturday afternoon. Boarding a bus from Tagbilaran City bound for Alicia, we were on a smooth and leisurely three-hour journey filled with scenic views that effortlessly dispelled any sense of boredom or distance.

Upon arrival in Alicia, we indulged in a delightful lunch at a local eatery called “carenderia” before marveling at the exquisite architectural beauty of a nearby church. Energized and eager to begin our ascent, we hopped on a tricycle and journeyed for approximately 20 minutes to reach the starting point of our adventure.

As we arrived at the trailhead, we registered our names, received a brief orientation, and paid the entrance fee. Ascending 400 meters above sea level, Alicia Panoramic View has quickly emerged as a must-visit destination in Bohol, offering visitors a breathtaking panorama from its summit alongside a challenging yet immensely rewarding hiking experience.

Pre-trek registration with our friend Jovel before our journey to the summit begins

Originally propelled into the spotlight by a vlogger in 2017, Alicia Panoramic View experienced a surge in popularity in 2018, attracting motorcyclists and adventurers alike eager to explore its scenic wonders.

After an invigorating hour-long trek under the warmth of the sun, we reached the summit, greeted by a spellbinding and rejuvenating vista. With the gentle caress of the wind and the allure of the breathtaking landscape, the thought of descending felt almost inconceivable. Indeed, the site even welcomes campers to spend the night, allowing them to savor the delights of stargazing and witness the splendor of sunrise atop this picturesque peak.

Quick break to cool off before heading to the top. Thankful for the shade as we consider the climb ahead with a mix of determination and anticipation! 😊
All smiles after an hour of walking and wondering if we'll ever make it to the top. LOL 😄
It is indeed worth the trek to witness this magical view.

Amidst capturing unforgettable moments through photographs and videos, we began our descent, navigating steep trails adorned with loose rocks and slippery soil. Despite the challenge, the sense of accomplishment upon reaching the base was immeasurable – a testament to the sheer beauty and allure of Alicia Panoramic View.

A bit slippery on the descent due to dry leaves, small rocks, and narrow, steep terrain

Our trek was a testament to the beauty of this natural wonder, and we invite you to experience its breathtaking beauty firsthand. Plan your visit to Alicia Panoramic View today and prepare to be captivated by its splendor.

All smiles after successfully returning to the starting point, with the stunning view from the summit behind us
