We are a Philippine tour operator with a desire to make a difference. We are not a usual Philippine tour and travel agency where you can buy something ready-made. Each tour will be tailor-made, designed individually.
Our team consists of passionate enthusiasts who, together and individually, have travelled the Philippines countless times over the last three decades. Our shared Filipino roots is what keeps luring us back to the islands. Our desire to share the beauty of its landscapes, its people and its culture is what makes us keep bringing our friends along; our itineraries expanding with every trip back.
Filipino tour company with German background
In 2009, we started a blog to share with German speaking readers all the adventures and experiences we have had while travelling this enchanting country. Philippinen Tours became the go-to site for Germans, Austrians and the Swiss wanting to learn more about what the Philippines has to offer. We wrote about our travels, shared our photographs and very soon, were receiving requests from our readers to bring them with us also.
In the last couple of years we have successfully put together highly individualised tours for our guests, relying on our years of travel experience and in depth knowledge of the country to bring this together
We hope that you will find this site useful for researching travel through the Philippines. We intend to write about our adventures as we go along and maybe even translate some of our more popular articles from the German site which our readers have found helpful. Perhaps you will be inspired to plan your next destination vacation to the Philippines!
You can learn a little about some of the less explored parts of the country, such as Dinagat or get our take on better-known tourist spots.
Travel through parts of the country, especially outside of the cities is not always straightforward and can be time-consuming and frustrating to manoeuvre. Ferry and bus schedules are not often updated and most do not allow for online booking yet. But if you have a lot of time, patience and a good sense of humour and adventure, it is certainly doable and definitely worthwhile.
You can check out our list of preferred accommodations – these are hotels/ resorts that our guests as well as ourselves have had good experiences in.
Or if you prefer, you could contact us, tell us what you want and we will use our wealth of experiences and passion for these 7,641 islands to put together an individualised trip for you, with all your accommodation and internal transfers sorted.
What You Can Expect From Us As Your Tour Operator
We realise that these days, it is easy enough to get online, book a trip on your own and just go. So we are always grateful to our customers who choose to entrust us with planning their trips and making the most of their hard earned vacation time and money.
We have been very fortunate to have guests who have a genuine curiosity and interest in knowing more about this special part of the world; and we are more than happy to share. So typically our tours will combine cultural experiences, a bit of adventure and relaxation at a beach-front resort.
When we get an understanding of your preferences, time restraints and budget, we discuss amongst our team the best options and ways that we can make your trip happen. We then come up with an individualised plan for you. We are not just one more Philippine travel agency. We are the maybe only Philippine travel & tour operator that can offer 100% individualised tours.
Once you are on your holiday, you can rest assured that all is taken care of and that you are able to reach us at any time should you have queries, or if any unforeseen circumstances occur.
We have established relationships with our partner resorts, tour guides and drivers and are always working on making our guests’ experiences the best they can be.
We are happy to create an unforgettable tour in the Philippines for you. Reach out to us today, and one of our experts will get in touch with you.
