Scholarship

Kapwa Travel´s mission statement has been designed with the Filipino people in mind, especially young, talented students in the tourism industry that need financial support. Similar to our German sister-company with their Philippinen Tours Scholarship Programme, we want to support students in the Philippines.

However, also Kapwa Travel has been affected by the Covid-19-pandemic, hence we are only able to offer a regular scholarship with the help of our followers.

Purpose: Scholarship Programme – Jonie Calibayan Cabalinan.

Currently (March 2021), we try to collect funds for Jonie who has just sent us a motivational letter that you can find here.

So far, of the outstanding balance of about 320€ for this semester until end of May 2021, we were able to collect 135€ as of 22 March, 2021. Many thanks to all the donators!

The next due dates are March 25 (6600 PHP / 115€), April 28 (5900 PHP / 102€), and May 28 (5900 PHP / 102€).

Students that are based on Mactan Island or Cebu City can avail of our scholarship & internship programme, since our office is based on Mactan Island. We are happy to give many practical insights to our growing company.
