With more than 7600 islands, the Philippines have to offer many beautiful beaches. This is our current top 10 list:D

Dumaluan Beach, Panglao: Some of our favourite resorts are located on Panglao Island like the Linaw Beach Resort and the South Palms Resort along the Dumaluan Beach. We have spent almost 1,5 years on Panglao Island and call it our second home.

White Beach, Boracay: Clearly one of the most famous beaches – not only in the Philippines but worldwide. To our gusto, Boracay is a bit too crowded these days but if you have the opportunity to visit Boracay off-season, then plan your trip and make sure to stay in station 1.

Dahican Beach, Mati: We have found this amazing beach when we were on a road-trip across Mindanao in April 2013. It was a bit wavy at that time, and some skim-boarders showed their talent on a local festival. The Dahican Beach is one of the remote gemstones in the “land of promise”.

Pamilacan, Bohol: Only a short bangka ride away from Baclayon (30 – 40 min) or from Panglao (60-70 min), Pamilacan Island has lots to offer, not only one of the best beaches in Bohol. The coral reef invites snorkellers, freedivers and scuba-divers, and the island itself is the perfect place to unwind – clearly one of our favourites in the Visayas. Hence, we also include trips to Pamilacan during our tours.

Sabang, Puerto Princesa: This beach was our ultimate goal after a 47-hour-boat-trip from Ilo-Ilo to Puerto Princesa with the “Milagrosa”. We highly recommend to travel via airplane to Palawan instead of traveling by sea;)

White Island, Camiguin: With its 7 volcanoes, hot & cold springs, waterfalls, diving and snorkeling spots and many other beautiful sights, Camiguin Island is a perfect destination for adventurers. One of the must-sees is also “White Island” with a spectacular panoramic view of Camiguin.

Tubod Beach, San Juan, Siquijor: The Coco Grove Beach Resort is one of our favourites in the Visayas. It is located at the beautiful Tubod Beach where you can find a beautiful marine sanctuary.

Bounty Beach, Malapascua: Our last visit in Malapscua Island was just after the devastating typhoon Haiyan had made its landfall. We tried to help our friends from Evolution who supported the community with rebuilding houses and taking care of kids who were affected by the natural catastrophe. Since November 2013, the island has recovered really well and is booming more than ever before.

Nacpan Beach, El Nido: Far in the North of Palawan, you can still find a rather remote beach. However, more and more backpackers find their way here, so hurry up in order to experience its authentic beauty.

Saud White Beach, Pagudpud: One of the best beaches up North in Luzon. Perfect swim conditions, since the water gets really deep only a few meters into the sea. Pagudpud is not really famous amongst tourists from abroad, there are mainly Filipino families traveling to the “Saud White Beach”. It is well worth the trip to our mind, especially when you combine it with a visit in Vigan City and Laoag.
